Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your eco-adventure.

Find answers about fitness levels, equipment, safety standards, group sizes, sustainability practices, and how we minimize our environmental footprint on every tour.

What fitness level do I need?
We offer trips for all abilities, from relaxed half-day walks on well-maintained trails to strenuous multi-day backpacking expeditions. Each itinerary is graded (Easy, Moderate, Challenging), and our planners will help you choose the right option based on your experience and health.
What equipment is provided?
Day hikes typically require only sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and a small pack. For overnight trips, we can provide tents, cooking gear, and bear-safe food storage. A detailed packing list is shared after booking, and rental options are available for most technical gear.
How big are your groups?
To protect natural areas and ensure a high-quality experience, most tours run with 4–10 guests per guide. Private departures and custom group sizes for families, schools, or organizations can be arranged upon request.
What safety standards do you follow?
All guides hold up-to-date wilderness medicine certifications and carry communication devices, first-aid kits, and emergency plans tailored to the route. Weather, fire risks, and wildlife activity are monitored before and during each trip, and we maintain comprehensive insurance and permitting.
How do you practice Leave No Trace?
Our tours are planned to avoid sensitive times and areas, we stay on designated trails whenever possible, pack out all waste, minimize campfire use, and use established campsites. Guests receive a short Leave No Trace briefing at the start of every trip.
Are your tours suitable for families?
Yes. We offer specific family-friendly itineraries with shorter hiking distances, slower pacing, and engaging educational activities tailored for younger travelers, while still respecting the environment and local communities.
